Scrapbook City Awards Night

Over at Scrapbook City they are winding up there 2008 Awards night challenges which the host in conjunction with there Christmas party.

Last year I won Colour artist and was stocked to win, this year Kerri, Leisa and the girls decided to mix it up a bit and have 5 set challenges. It’s taken me about 3 weeks to get all 5 challenges done but am very happy with the layouts that I produced.

At the post office yesterday (I know I leave it to the last minute) the box weighed in at 1.888kg. My friend Andrea tells me 8 is very lucky so fingers crossed I can produce a winning layout this year.

Below are the challenges and the layouts I produced. There was a kit that all the papers came in to make it a bit easier as all the challenges were manufacturer specific.

1.Design a sketch and create a layout and a card from the sketch. You must include flowers, any number of photos, stitching and/or doodling. Journaling is a must on the layout.

2. Use four 6x4 photos or smallerUse Patterned Paper as your backgroundScrap in a minimalist styleUse up to 5 Embellishments only (including title and journaling...these are not compulsory, but will be counted as one item each.)May also use extra cardstock and PP as desired embellishments may be elements cut from patterned paper or handmade to suit the page.

3. Use a punch/edger to shape all the patterned papers, include 4 Patterned Papers, 3 Corners need to be punched, 2 Photos, 1 Title

4.This Layout must be about friends, and included one 5x7 photo plus 2 smaller photos, the layout must have a whimsical Style - must have a bird/s or tree/s, and stamping.
Your manufacturer is Fancy Pants
5.For this challenge please use Sepia or Black and White photos and 3 photos (any sizes)Title must begin with "I Remember..." or "Remember When..."Include one of: Lace, ribbon or bling (one of these only)
